In 1975, Thom "Rockin" Locken called the Steamboat Springs gathering, "The Wildman Roundup". A wild party out in nature, filled with music and nature. It was away from everything in our daily lives. FUN.

The Ridgetop Wildman Roundup was established on July 4th, 1976 to celebrate the Bi-Centenial and the purchase of "The Ridge." This special place is 500 plus acres of forest land deep in the Sierra-Nevada Gold Country.  It was purchased by a partnership of friends:  Dan and Nancy Unger, Ruth and Mick McCabe, and TR Larson.  Guests gathered from Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Florida, England, and parts beyond. It was such a memorable Event that on Memorial Day weekend, 1986, the first reunion of the Wildman lured guests from Hawaii, Washington state and Belgium to add to the guest list.  So in effect, every 10 years we have reunited on the ridge top to reconvene and celebrate once again. In 1996, it was on June 14th through the 16th. And our last one was July 1st-3rd of 2006.  Each one has been a memorable experience for all that attend. So here we are looking at 2016! The dates are June 24th-26th. Please RSVP soon and make some new memories with us.
